Look-Alikes: Celebrity You

There are a bunch of sites that let you upload your pic and then they do a little magic (do you like how every time I don’t know exactly how something is done, I chalk it up to magic?) and come up with the celebrities that you most closely resemble. I normally don’t give a rat’s patootie about celebrities, but I have two very good reasons for giving these a try. First, I need an “L” post and second, I’m feeling tired and lazy, and this option is all but effortless.

Hmmmm, maybe I should rethink my full-disclosure, honesty policy.

Anyway, I uploaded my pic into two of these sites, and here’s what they came up with…

First, I tried facedouble.com and got Caroline Rhea.

Next, I went to myheritage.com, and it gave me this:

I noticed that my supposed best match on myheritage was only given a 66% match rating, so maybe I just don’t have a celebrity kind of face.

*remembering an old joke about having a great face for radio*

While browsing, I did find some funny--and surprisingly accurate--celebrity look-alike photos:

Okay folks, that's all I've got. Color "L" done. :O)

  1. Thanks for the morning chuckle, Beth. Must try that celebrity look a like site just for fun.

Loved the last bunch of pictures. What a hoot! Guess I'd better try and think of something for "L" now.

  2. This is funny. Thanks for the laughs this morning. I've been told I look like Demi Moore but I'm afraid the computer match will bring up Howard Stern.

  3. I think the problem you had with these look-a-like sites is that there are no celebrities as beautiful as Bethie. BTW, thanks for reminding me of "The Trilogy of Terror". That was a really scary one, especially Karen Black!

  7. This is hilarious! When did Mel turn into the Burger King? I remember when he was a hottie in Road Warrior.

  8. @Cathy: I read your "L" post. Cute!

@KBalbify: Demi Moore is beautiful. Poor Howard, though, not his really is a face for radio!

@Gary: Awww, you're a sweetie. By the way, when was the last time you were at the eye doctor?

@Yvonne: I love those celeb pics!

    @Pixiebaby: :OD

@Sunshine: I think you look a bit like Lauren Graham (Gilmore Girls). :O)

@Jean: The Burger King guy seems to scare the crap out of kids--maybe there's something to the resemblance...

  9. HA! Loved this! I don't look like any celebrities and none of them look like me either. I have so many friends that get the "You look like so and so from that movie or that t.v. show" but in all my life I've never heard that before about me. Maybe I have a good radio face too? I know I would definitely do a nude radio scene.

  10. @ML: :OD

@DWV: You could start a new blog, "The Naked Poet." I'll bet you'd grow a following pretty quickly.

  15. I'm really late finding this post, but this was a riot. I always thought the Cowardly Lion looked like David Crosby.

  16. Oh my gosh. This is hilarious! And I do totally see Caroline Rhea!

  17. @Elaine: You're right! David Crosby did look like the Cowardly Lion! LOL!!!

@Alana: I see Caroline Rhea, too. I would have preferred Sophia Loren or Diane Lane, but somehow I don't quite line up with them! ;O)
